Who We Are
Married at Seventeen
How it Started
I’m Courtney. I met my husband and became a follower of Jesus the year I turned 13. Getting married, serving in ministry and dreaming of being a full-time missionary to some obscure tribe someday were the only dreams I had at that time. Four years later, I married the man of my dreams. Little did I know then what amazing adventures we would go on. Eighteen years and 10 children later, I’ve been married for more than half of my life.
Full of adventure
More than I could dream
We have home-birthed, homeschooled, unschooled, flipped houses, traveled the country in campers, moved countless times, experienced life in an RV with ten children and moved to a tiny town in Alaska on a “whim.” There, we experienced life on Christian farms, living with bears and moose, hunting, fishing salmon, butchering, preserving food, putting up food for the year at every opportunity, skiing, large-scale gardening and a myriad of other skills and adventures that we will remember forever.
Our family now
Raising our family together
Our oldest son is now the age I was when I married. Our youngest is just 10 months. We are currently living in Tennessee on five acres with our first two milk cows, a calf, 40 chicks, 4 turkeys and a dog. Our home is small, our family is large and our dreams are big. We are raising a generation of men and women of God from the four walls of our home that will proclaim the faithfulness of the LORD to their generation.
